Upon graduation in 2001, Jabari was hired by Malton Neighbourhood Services where he worked for five years. For the first year he worked as a Youth Facilitator/Job Coach. He was then promoted and, for the next 5 years (2001-2005), worked as a Community Youth Worker.
Following his tenure at Malton Neighbourhood Services, Jabari was hired at the Canadian Training Institute as Project Director of Breaking the Cycle, a youth gang exit and ambassador leadership program. He held this position for five years.
Currently, Jabari works for the City of Toronto as a Manager of Youth Development. Jabari is a keynote speaker for a variety of community outreach initiatives including some of those hosted by the School of Social and Community Services at Humber.
