Eighth Annual Community Partnership Appreciation Event

On Tuesday, June 7th, the School of Social & Community Services hosted its eighth annual Community Partnership Appreciation Event at the Assembly Hall in Toronto.

The event gave the School of Social & Community Services the opportunity to formally recognize the invaluable contributions of the agencies and supervisors who host and mentor our students in their field/internship placements.

During the event, guests had the opportunity to learn about the incentives Humber offers to its community partners; network with other professionals in related fields; tour our historic Lakeshore Campus; connect with Humber staff and enjoy some breakfast while listening to a musical trio. There was also a draw for some terrific prizes.

Special thanks to JoAnne Nugent for delivering the Community Partnership Fund information session. Our partners were eager to hear about this incentive.

Thank you to Humber music students David MacLean, Matthew Lagan, and Sean Clarey, who provided fabulous entertainment at the event.

Congratulations to this year’s Agency of Distinction plaque recipients and sincere thanks to all of our Partners in Education.

Together WE ARE making a difference!
